Purchasing Info
Please check our Current Litters page to determine if we have any puppies available and the price of a puppy from that litter. We will also have information regarding when we will begin accepting deposits for available puppies from said litter. At this time, we do not accept deposits for planned litters or puppies not yet born.
Working homes are preferred, however, exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis. We want our dogs to be happy in their new homes, and we want you happy with your new dog. Contact us if you're interested in a puppy, and please be prepared to answer some questions about your knowledge of and/or experience with the breed, your intended use, and/or expectations of the pup, and the environment and lifestyle that you will provide. This will help us determine the suitability of the situation so that a successful partnership can be achieved between you, your family, and your new Catahoula.
A nonrefundable deposit of $150 is required to hold the available puppy of your choice until the pup is ready to be picked up between 6 and 8 weeks of age. Deposits are payable by check, money order, PayPal, or Venmo. The remainder of the purchase price can also be made via these options, however, payments made by check must be received at least one week prior to pick up. Cash is also accepted at the time of pick up.
All puppies sell with a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. Puppies will also have received at least three dewormings by the time of pick up, and the new owner is encouraged to continue a regular deworming schedule as recommended by their vet.
Please Note: On the advice of our veterinarian, puppies will typically NOT have received any vaccinations if they're picked up before 8 weeks of age (on the condition that they have received adequate colostrum from their fully immunized mother). This is a new policy based on research that shows that the maternal antibodies passed to the puppies through their mother's milk will essentially inactivate the vaccines given to puppies at a very young age and are therefore not as beneficial as once believed. Please check out the links below for more detailed information on puppy vaccinations. (Of course, once you have picked up your puppy the decision of when to vaccinate is up to you and your veterinarian.)

PLEASE NOTE
We do not ship our puppies at this time. Pick-up can be arranged at our location in Aubrey, Texas. As a courtesy to us, it is strongly encouraged that arrangements for pick-up of your puppy are made at the time of reservation so that we can plan our pick-up schedule accordingly. Occasionally, we are available to deliver pups for the cost of travel, so please contact us for more information if you have questions about possible delivery.
